Understand the differences between the 922G series models

All 922G Series dump trucks share some basic features such as powerful Cummins Stage 5 engines, advanced safety features, user-friendly cabins and environmentally friendly technologies. The choice of model depends on specific needs and working conditions, and the 922G series allows you to choose the right hauler for your job.

Hydrema 922G:

This dumper is the base model in the 922G series and offers a versatile solution for earthmoving applications. It has 600 mm wide tyres that provide good traction and off-road capability. This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications.

Hydrema 922G 2.55:

This variant is designed to be narrow, with a width of less than 2.55 metres. This makes it ideal for working in confined spaces where space is limited. It is also suitable for tasks where you need to navigate through narrow passages.

Hydrema 920G:

This model, unlike the other three, is an 18 tonne dumper. The 2 tonnes of load capacity it doesn't have means it has a record low ground pressure of 85 kPa when fully loaded. In addition, it has 920 mm steel-reinforced tyres with a heavy-duty tread pattern, giving it the lowest possible ground pressure in the 922G series. The tyres have high puncture resistance and outstanding off-road performance with excellent grip and self-cleaning properties, making it perfect for soft terrain. This makes it ideal for working in sensitive terrain where minimal soil compaction is essential.

Hydrema 922HM:

This 922 model is between the 922G and 920G with its 800mm wide tyres and high ground clearance, but unlike the 920G, it still has a 20 tonne load capacity. So it's the 20 tonne dumper truck in the range that has the lowest ground pressure without compromising on load capacity.
