  8. Only a few simple modifications are sufficient to install rail wheels on Hydrema machines. The great advantage of using “standard” earth-moving equipment is that these machines can run on standard terrain wheels to carry out ordinary construction jobs and once the rails have been laid out the final job can be carried out from the rails. The machines can even drive directly up onto the railway line, before lowering their rail wheels to run on the rails themselves.
